Thursday Night Lights is fun for the whole family!
Flemington’s eight summer music festivals welcome children of all ages. We strive to create a relaxed, family-friendly environment and will have free kids’ activities around town. Bring the whole family and enjoy!
There will be a Pokemon Go challenge, bubble balls, archery tag, face-painting, games, magicians, and an opportunity to meet American Ninja warrior Greg Smith.
Turntable Junction near Liberty Village and at the corner of Church Street and Central Avenue will be the center of fun activities. Take the short walk from Main St. or, if you drive, there is plenty of parking! (Directions to Turntable)
Pokémon Go Challenge
Pokémon Go is the latest craze and the Thursday Night Lights team wants you to get in on the fun! Pokémon Go (which you can download for free and learn more here) encourages you to get out in the real world and use your mobile phone to catch Pokémon, collectible creatures that players use to battle one another.
The game uses your phone’s GPS for your real-world location and augmented reality to bring up those cool-looking Pokémon on your screen, overlaid on top of what you see in front of you.
How does the challenge work? Stop by the Pokemon Go table at the kids’ area in Turntable Junction between 6pm and 7pm, sign in, keep a journal in the app, then come back in 2 hours. The most journal entries will win a Bubble Ball party from The Edge Sports Center (a $250 value!) More details to come.
American Ninja Warrior, Greg Smith
Thursday Night Lights is excited to have American Ninja Greg Smith, who goes by the nickname “Scarred Ninja” come out on Thursday nights to answer questions and give autographs.

The Edge Sports Center has generously offered to bring their inflatable “bubble balls” and archery tag activities which are suitable for the whole family.
What is Bubble Ball?
Bubble Ball is the newest fun activity for both kids and adults! You will be wrapped in a giant, soft inflatable Bubble Ball with shoulder harnesses and handles inside! Get ready to have a blast!
Indulge your inner Rambo and Katniss with Archery Tag. The Edge Sports Center will be hosting this fun activity including arrows and a giant zombie target!
